BSD’s ACR39U PocketMate II is a compact and portable smart card reader that offers more than just its small size. With a swivel-usb-go design, it can be easily kept safe when not in use. Despite its diminutive size, it supports full-sized contact smart cards, making it suitable for demanding smart card applications. It can last for up to 100,000 card insertion cycles, making it highly durable.  It offers reliability, convenience, and flexibility, all in a pocket-sized package.

This reader is versatile, supporting ISO 7816 Class A, B, and C smart cards with 5 V, 3 V, and 1.8 V. It also supports memory cards, including the Department of Defense Common Access Card (CAC), the SIPRNET Card, and the Malaysian Identity Card (MyKad). Its wide range of applications includes PIV, Physical and Logical Access Control, Digital Signature, and Online Banking. ACR39U PocketMate II is a sleek and straightforward pocket-sized reader that can be used anytime and anywhere. It is PC/SC and CCID-compliant, enabling it to be easily integrated into a computer-based environment. It also offers broad support, thanks to its standard USB Type-A connector. It comes with drivers that work with a variety of operating systems, including Windows®, Solaris™, Linux®, and macOS. Furthermore, it can be used on mobile devices running on Android™ versions 3.1 and later.
