Product Description
BSD RHLS-2 was created specifically for identifying the animals in their herd. It is particularly successful at differentiating a single animal from a group of animals on the farm who have been tagged with an RFID LF Ear Tag or an Injectable Tag. It can be used to manage livestock, as well as track and retain animal data. The BSD RHLS-2 is a cable-free, rugged, portable hand-held RFID scanning device with a rechargeable 4 AA size battery pack. The reader meets the technical requirements of ISO standards 11784 and 11785. It has a display and a high-contrast OLED screen with a battery level indicator, connection status indicator, and a clock. The OLED readout also displays the RFID tag number, tag type, session, and total tag count. The scanning antenna coil is internally mounted at the forward end of the tube and is oriented for optimal read distance with the ear tag when the axis of the transponder is read in any relative orientation.
